This useful free tool will compare two sets of code and highlight the differences at both the character and line level. Really handy for comparing any code changes whatsoever but also particularly helpful when debugging your code in our Advanced Editor for AB test development. The tool is really easy to use, simply copy your original and changed code, or text, into the relevant boxes below and then click the ‘Compare’ button.
The differences will then be highlighted for you above, along with a note to let you know how many lines of code are different. To reset and start again, you guessed it, just click the ‘Reset’ button. Comparing code can be an essential, but often a very time-consuming, manual task. You often need a dedicated tool to support this to ensure nothing slips through the cracks or is missed.
